Tylö webshop v.1: Tylö, a leading sauna manufacturer based out of Sweden wanted a webshop that they could incorporate into their website style. I created an initial concept that was an emotional webshop. The idea was to not only provide the usual webshop solution but to further incorporate it into the entire site, using a specific color to create a brand inside a brand. I broke down an in-store experience and recreated it online. The trick is to create a e-commerce site that is flexible enough to meet the requirements of each and every customer.
One major step for Tylö was to remove the resellers list and instead have a webshop and connection to a select group of resellers. We removed the exisitng "find retailers" and in it's place have promoted the webshop with a yellow button. 
Three steps to emotional connection to the Tylö brand. The overall thought with the webshop was to make it personal and flexible. Knowing that a sauna purchase is large, less frequent than a car. We want to promote people making a strong connection and purchasing the more consumable goods more frequently. The idea was also to allow people choice and to upsell delivery or in-store pick-up (select resellers). Strengthing the customer connection to the service.
A second part of the setup for the webshop was the ability to customize the shop to your personal wishes. If you are just interested in traditonal saunas, then you will automatically be shown only products that relate to your choices.
